The Urban Divide in Latin America: Challenges and Strategies for Social Inclusion
The Center’s 58th Annual Conference, co-hosted with the UF College of Design, Construction and Planning, will gather scholars and professionals dedicated to improving the quality of life in urban Latin America. Abstracts are due September 1, 2008. The conference will take place January 29-30, 2009.
LAS Doctoral Student Teaching Award Competition
The Center is pleased to announce its 2008-2009 competition for the Latin American Studies Doctoral Student Teaching Award. The recipient will teach a section of LAS 4935, an undergraduate interdisciplinary seminar in Latin American Studies, during the Spring 2009 semester.
